6 of us to race tonight. Sadly I failed to take the memory stick out of the computer, so there are no details just yet.
From memory I think it was a double for Chris. No more details for Club Cars but a very brief resume for 24th Prod.

5th Nick, with firstly a slipping gear, then losing a wheel with a stripped thread and retiring.

Another bumper turnout with 9 drivers for Club Cars again and 6 for Group 12 Saloon.
Some excellent and fun racing resulted in another win for Woody....

On to Saloon and some more good racing. Kev was on form posting 4 PB's and comfortably TQ'ed from Corky by 5+ laps and Nick took 3rd. Woody had brought the wrong cars !!! and borrowed one of Chris's spares and Geoff's car broke down in warm up for the first race so he was set for an early bath. Chris's car didn't look too great either and could only take 5th in qualy, behind Woody with his spare car.
Chris decided his car wasn't up to another race so we had a 4 man 'A' final.
Nick took an early lead after Kev had an early disastrous 'off' and Nick led up until nearly half way with Kev catching fast. Kev eventually got past Nick and gradually pulled away to finish up taking a comfortable win by some 3+ laps. Meanwhile Nick and Corky were having a good battle and swapped 2nd and 3rd places a couple of times. Come the last few seconds and Corky scraped past Nick to take 2nd place by 19 feet, good stuff !!
To top off a good night's racing we trotted off to the Dog & Gun for a couple of shandies.

7 of us to race tonight. Sadly the Blue lane car broke it's motor mount bracket, so only 3 lanes to count.

7 drivers racing tonight. In qualy only Woody and Chris managed to get into the 16s with Woody taking TQ by just 21 feet. Kev unfortunately stripped a gear so only posted a meagre 5.41, which was to prove very costly in the finals.
The B final was Nick, Geoff and Kev. Nick and Kev were fairly evenly matched after the first 2 segs but then Kev pulled away a bit in 3rd and 4th, but that qualifying did for him and left Nick the winner by 5.60 laps. Geoff was never on the pace tonight with too many offs, and finished in 3rd in the race.
The A final was a bit of a walkover for Chris. Bob's car lost all drive very soon in the first, so an early bath for him. Chris was quite a bit quicker than Woody and a lost braid in the 3rd meant that Woody had no chance of catching Chris. Ian also had problems early on and lost so much time that he ended up in 6th overall.
A bit late finishing meant we went to the Dog and Gun for refreshment.
